Welcome to our Farm Updates Page. On this page you will find the latest information about what is going on in the fields. We start with infrequent posts but update more often as the varieties come in. The basic schedule is: sprouts pop up in early May and we begin harvest in mid July. We have averaged about 75 days from the first sprout We see to the first bud We cut. Amazing!! The updates get posted weekly or better from May through harvest.
We sell by colors shipping the freshest available variety for each order. You can watch the updates to know when specific varieties will be available for shipping. Upcoming specials will be announced in the updates and as varieties run out we will update the availability here.
We also post pictures from all over the farm and from our many wonderful volunteers whom help bring all the buds to you.
Farm Updates for C&D Peonies
June left with cool days and July has so far been a bit cooler than normal. We will begin harvesting on about July 18th-22. Shipping will begin on July 29th. Whites, Blush, and Pinks available for shipping, Reds and Specialties will become available for shipping August 5th. These beauties go fast so keep your clients in Peonies well into August and order now.
